"Old Ironsides", as she is known, was built around the time of the signing of the United States Constitution, and thus her name. She is the oldest commissioned war ship still afloat and is maintained as a national monument at the Charleston Navy Yard in Boston Massachusetts. In the War of 1812 she defeated three British war ships over a 6 month period. Measures 13" x 12".
